Specialist Mediation

Action for Inclusion's Specialist Mediation Service available for disabled people and their families.  All our mediators are professionally qualified and have significant experience at managerial level in Further Education understanding the importance of collaboration regarding the Education, Health and Social Care Plan for young people with disabilities.

Action for Inclusion is a network of professionals and organisations who are working together to develop and improve education for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in the FE sector. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

Originally established as a strategy for the South East region in 2006, the approach has now been disseminated nationally and the lead professionals are sharing practice with post 16 education providers and local authorities across the sector. In addition to running local, regional and national events, Action for Inclusion has now launched a website, designed to keep members up to date and to share practice.

Are you interested in becoming and Action for Inclusion Associate?
 
We are looking for people with a wide range of skills and experience of working with people with a learning disability in schools, local authorities, Further Education, voluntary organisations etc. We also welcome applications from people with a learning and / or other disability who would like to help shape local educational services.
